Safety Signs are very important, in so far as there are many signs that you must have up in your workplace in order to comply with the law. It is therefore not something that ought to be done in any sort of half-hearted way, as the consequences of not properly complying can be serious. Having said that, there is money to be saved if you choose to download some of your health and safety signs and print them off yourself,
The only thing I would say is that if you do use free printable safety signs rather than purchase more substantial ones, it is advisable to at least laminate them to ensure they do not get torn or start to roll up, etc. The danger being that if half the sign gets ripped off, or it curls up so you can't see it all, then you are not comlying with the law. That is why if you do choose to use free printable signs you should be prepared to keep a much closer eye on them and check them more regularly than if they were 'permanent' plastic signs.
